Hello and welcome
I’m Nicola and I’m passionate about providing flexible, affordable business admin support to busy solopreneurs, start-ups and small business owners.
With over 15 years experience, I am a seasoned PA, EA, Office Manager, Account Manager and general all-round administration guru! Before specialising as a Virtual Assistant, I supported busy executives and business owners across a range of sectors including events, live music and entertainment, recruitment, telecommunications, HR, legal and charity. With such a varied background, there isn’t much I can’t turn my hand to.
Whilst I have supported large UK and global companies, including Carphone Warehouse, Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster, the majority of my career has been spent supporting small, independent UK businesses. I love the collaborative environment that naturally comes from working directly with business owners and their small teams, and helping to calm the chaos and reduce the never ending to-do list.
I started the Freedom VA to help overwhelmed business professionals to free up more of their time and focus, so they can run and grow their business while sharing the stress burden. Having worked alongside many small business owners, I’ve seen first hand how crucially important it is to carve out time to work on your business, rather than falling into the trap of working in the business every day.
As a naturally organised person, I get great satisfaction from helping business professionals to lighten their admin workload. Through task delegation and simple changes, like implementing systems and processes for greater efficiencies, we’ll work together to help you reclaim a better work/life balance.

When I’m not organising busy diaries or keeping inboxes under control, you’ll find me hiking up a mountain, exploring new places, or enjoying some time out on the water. I believe in having a healthy work/life balance, something I strive for my clients to achieve with my help. Working remotely allows me to indulge in my passion for travel and I’ve been fortunate enough to work from some beautiful destinations over the past few years.
Whilst the UK is my main base, I enjoy being a “digital nomad” and do take my work abroad with me from time to time. No matter where I am in the world, I always make sure I’m available to my clients within their time zone. I pride myself on being flexible and adaptable, in order to make this wonderful lifestyle work.
